When does the beer hike take place?+
Bierwanderlust at Lake Sempach takes place on 1 May 2027 from 10:00 to 21:00. Groups start every 15 minutes between 10:00 and 14:30. Please arrive for check-in 15 minutes before your start time.
Will the hike go ahead in the rain?+
Yes, the beer hike goes ahead whatever the weather. Wear suitable clothing and comfortable shoes.
How old do I need to be?+
This event is for ages 18 and over. Please bring valid ID for the age check.
Is alcohol-free beer available?+
Yes! Your 8 × 0.3 litres of beer can be alcoholic or alcohol-free – it's your choice.
What's included in the ticket?+
Your ticket includes 8 × 0.3 litres of beer from 8 different beer brands. Choose alcoholic or alcohol-free beer. Prices will be announced when ticket sales open. Sign up for the early-bird newsletter so you don't miss the launch.
How long is the route?+
We're currently coordinating and refining the route. Once confirmed, we'll publish the distance, elevation gain, start and finish points, and stops. The beer hike takes place in Eich at Lake Sempach.
Can I buy a ticket yet?+
Ticket sales aren't open yet. Once booking is available, you'll be able to access the ticket shop from this website.
What's the best way to get there?+
Please plan to travel to and from the event by public transport. We'll add specific connections and the meeting point in Eich once the route is confirmed.
